    Simple Features is a standardized (ISO 19125-1:2004) architecture for geographic information (points, lines, and polygons). It is widely used is GIS systems (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.), spatial databases (PostGIS, MySQL Spatial Extensions, etc.), and various libraries (GDAL, GEOS, etc.). This talk is an introduction to Simple Features for R (the sf package) in the context of the Tidyverse framework.
